Our Kids Can’t Tell.
That’s the Danger.
Keep THC products like Delta-8 out of the hands of our kids.
Email Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders and your state legislators and tell them to pass legislation banning THC products like Delta-8.
Dear Public Official,
I am writing to you today to urge you to ban THC products like Delta-8 in Arkansas. Our children aren’t safe until a ban is in place.
As you may know, hemp-derived THC products like Delta-8 are unregulated. These products are far too easily accessible to our children, and in fact, they often appear to be marketed toward our children with brightly-colored packages, cartoon art, and deceptively-similar packaging to non-THC candies our children routinely encounter.
I am counting on you to act immediately to ensure Delta-8 and similar THC products are on the list of Arkansas schedule six controlled substances.
Don’t leave our children at risk.

THC Products Like Delta-8 Are Easily Accessible To Arkansas Children.
Even worse, many often appear to be marketed directly toward our children.
Bright, colorful packaging.
Cartoon-like images and characters.
Designed to look nearly identical to the candies our kids
routinely see at the grocery store checkout.
Delta-8 Is Completely
No age regulation law.
No safety package requirements.
Even sold at your neighborhood convenience store.
Since last year, the number of cases of children ingesting edible cannabis products has more than doubled.1
Because they are so easy to get their hands on, these psychoactive THC products are now showing up in our children’s schools.
[Delta-8] can progress to hallucinations, dehydration, even seizures. Kids can get really, really sick with an overdose of THC.1
